I thought I would post this evening and let everyone know that royalty checks for the first quarter have been mailed. As you know, royalties for the first quarter of 2008 are not due until the last day of April, but I had all my ducks in a row early this quarter so was able to get them out really early.

Please don’t get so used to the early mailing that you plan on it. We have set the due date for royalties as the last day of the month following the close of the quarter because we sometimes need the month following the close of the quarter to obtain all the data and to produce the statements. This will probably be even more the case as we grow, with more authors and more sales.
