Just wanted to let you know about AuthorIsland.com’s all day chat tomorrow, so you can let your authors know – they are very welcome to stop by to chat and share their excerpts and offer giveaways.

Our next all day book chat is scheduled for tomorrow from 10 am to 7pm EST – and like most all day chats, it will probably be going on much later than that !
You are all invited to stop by with excerpts, news, giveaways or just to chat with some readers.  There’s no set schedule, so you can pop in anytime you’d like for as long as you’d like, but I do ask that if you offer a giveaway, please don’t pull your winners until after the chat is over.  This will give all readers the time to enter, because some will be joining in later than others.  The best thing to do is to post your contest/giveaway in an email early in the day then again later in the afternoon or early evening.  The address to use for any contests or to post your excerpts and news is authorislandchat@yahoogroups.com and to make sure you are signed up for the chat, go to http://groups. yahoo.com/ subscribe/ authorislandchat.
The chat is also a good place to let readers know you have a newsletter and give them information about how to sign up.
We’ll also be sharing quick and easy summer meal ideas and recipes, so if you want to post any of those, be sure to include your name and website under it, so when it’s posted on our recipe blog, it will have a link to your website right with it.

Anyone Want to Chat at Romance Junkies?

Good Morning Everyone,

 I set up a chat at Romance Junkies for my alter ego, Alyssa Aaron who is the author of His Perfect Submissive. His Perfect Submissive is doing well in sales right now, having attained number 1 at Fictionwise for erotica and having hit #3 at ARe. I wanted to capitalize on the current popularity, and hopefully help push additional sales for it and for other Black Velvet Seductions titles.

While I would much prefer to have this be a BVS group chat, open to everyone associated with BVS, Romance Junkies is not currently scheduling publisher chats. Their rules allow me to have two friends chat with me, which is way better than chatting completely alone. The chat is already set up for Tuesday April 22, 2008 from 9-10 PM EST

If you are free that night, have a book already in print with Black Velvet Seductions, and would like to chat please let me know, by adding your comment here. I will be taking the first two authors who voice their interest.

I need confirmation ASAP as I need to get your information to the chat coordinator so that we can get the chat set up.
